The Continental GTC captures the essence of the Continental GTC range, combining thrilling performance and exquisite craftsmanship with aplomb. As the quintessential convertible grand tourer, it is a stunning example of British automotive design, inside and out.

With enough space to seat four adults comfortably – and room for their luggage in the boot – it is a car in which long journeys pass by blissfully. With its four-layer fabric roof closed, you could be forgiven for thinking you are sealed inside a hard-top coupé. Ultimately, however, this is a car that comes into its own with the top down – certainly the most appropriate way to hear its V8 engine roar.

INTUITIVE INNOVATION

Crucial to getting the most from a convertible is the ability to drive it with the top down all year round. With ventilated seats to keep you cool on hot days, the Continental GTC makes summer driving a joy. Heated armrests, meanwhile, enable you to keep the roof down on cooler days, too. The roof itself can be opened or closed quickly – even while the car is moving at speeds of up to 30 mph (50 km/h) – so if the weather suddenly changes, you don’t need to stop.

Equipment

The car is equipped with Apple CarPlay*, alongside its own Wi-Fi hotspot. There is wireless charging for compatible phones, while My Bentley connected services include Online radio and over-the-air map updates for the navigation system. You also have a choice of three sound systems: Bentley Signature Audio, which is installed as standard, Bang & Olufsen for Bentley or the incredible 20-channel Naim for Bentley system.

Space, Light and Detail

The Continental GTC is designed to turn heads with the roof open or closed. When closed, it merges seamlessly with the car’s streamlined body, resulting in a sleek silhouette. When it drops, it is stowed away neatly, allowing a single design line to emerge from the side panels and sweep around the backs of the rear seats. At the front of the car, the gloss black Bentley matrix grille features a polished chrome surround, matching the handcrafted exterior detailing on display all around the car. Striking 21” Five Tri-Spoke painted wheels lend the car true road presence – an effect capped by the elliptical quad tailpipes seen at the rear. Configure your Bentley

BRING YOUR IDEAS TO LIFE

There are seven exterior colours to choose from, but if you opt to explore the extended range, as well as Mulliner Paints, your choice grows to a total of over 80 colours. The roof can be commissioned in any of seven outer fabrics, including solid colours and a contemporary tweed finish.
The Blackline Specification gives you the opportunity to turn most of the chrome exterior detailing black, adding contrast to a brightly coloured car, or a more stealth-inspired attitude to a darker exterior.
Inside, you can choose from five hide colours including the rich black, Beluga and Cricket Ball, a crimson red. There are also five roof interior colours available to complement your choice. The optional Colour Specification allows you to pick from all the leather colour splits available on any Continental GTC. For the fascia, console and door panels, there are numerous veneer options to choose from. And if you wish to explore the possibilities further, Bentley’s personal commissioning division, Mulliner, can create truly bespoke features for your car.

Impossibly smooth yet immensely powerful, the twin-turbocharged, 4.0 litre V8 engine can deliver 542 bhp (550 PS) and 770 Nm ( 568 lb-ft) of torque, resulting in acceleration from zero to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds) – and an incredible top speed of 198 mph (318 km/h)*. The car is equipped with four driving modes, enabling you to configure its systems to suit your mood. Comfort mode delivers an incredibly refined ride – perfect for long-distance cruising. Sport mode increases responsiveness for thrilling dynamic handling.
